(PresidentialWire.com)- The coordinated pressure campaign by the Democrats and the corporate news media to get Senators Krysten Sinema (D-AZ) and Joe Manchin (D-WV) to support abolishing the Senate Filibuster kicked into high gear this past week after the Senate failed to secure the 60 votes necessary to advance the bill authorizing the January 6 Commission.
Every day supposed “unbiased” reporters chase after the pair demanding to know if they will change their mind and vote to abolish the filibuster.
And every day, Sinema and Manchin say no.
Well, someone else has decided to join the pressure campaign: Joe Biden’s speech writers.

Though Biden doesn’t name Manchin and Sinema, it is clear to whom he is referring.
And, because it is Joe Biden, his claim that Manchin and Sinema vote more often with Republicans than him is a flat-out lie. Both Senators have voted with Biden nearly 100% of the time since he took office.
It bears noting that both Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin serve states that are overwhelmingly conservative. Demanding that they cave to the far-Left wing of the Democrat Party will not only harm them when they run for reelection, but it will also put them out of step with the states they represent in the US Senate.
On Wednesday, June 2, Sinema was again asked about the filibuster. And this time she explained why she supports it.
Sinema on not voting on the Jan. 6 commission: "I had a personal family matter."

You’ll notice the reporter said, “Some people are saying.” The “some people” more than likely refers to the reporters who keep demanding Sinema and Manchin cave to their persistent badgering.
Also on June 2, Jen Psaki was forced to do a little damage control in an attempt to walk-back President Biden’s claims about Sinema and Manchin.

It was only a commentary on TV punditry? What does that even mean?
In truth, regardless of Psaki’s lofty description of President Biden’s beliefs and convictions, he didn’t write that speech. That dig at Sinema and Manchin was deliberate. It was not a throwaway comment Biden tossed in; it was scripted. And the goal, as with those in “TV punditry” is to keep the pressure on these two Senators until they bend to the demands of the radical Left base.
